The exact colour of a cold one held up to four o'clock sun.
Mustard gold, steins and pretzels wall to wall, and not a word of text anywhere on it. This is the friendly one — the shirt that gets a laugh on the first tee rather than a raised eyebrow, and the one that comes out best in photos once the light goes long and everyone has quietly agreed the scorecard is a rough guide at best.
Gold behaves like the warm colour it is. It flatters a tan, it doesn't wash you out under a cap, and it sits fine with navy, stone or white shorts. Of the eight in the range, this is the one most likely to get a "where's that from" at the bar.
It'll get through the pro shop
Australian club dress codes are almost always written against two things: uncollared tops, and clothing carrying substantial advertising slogans or offensive language. Neither describes a pattern.
So: proper ribbed collar, cut long enough to tuck, no brand names, no slogans, no words at all. Loud, but nothing your captain can actually point at.
The build
- Moisture-wicking performance polyester — made for a 34-degree Saturday, not a photo shoot
- Sublimated edge to edge: the print runs across front, back, sleeves and collar with no cut-off at the seams
- Colour is dyed into the fibre rather than layered on top, so it can't crack, peel or fade out
- Three-button placket and a ribbed collar that still stands up in round twenty
- Cold machine wash, hang dry, never needs an iron
- Sizes S to 4XL
Sizing — worth thirty seconds
These run small — about two sizes under a typical Australian fit. If you wear an AU Large, order the 2XL. The knit is stretchy, so one size up is enough if you like a trim, athletic fit. Between sizes, always go up.

Measured flat: shoulder seam to seam, chest armpit to armpit doubled, length collar to hem. Allow 1–3cm — they're measured by hand. Full detail on the size guide, or email your usual size and we'll pick for you.
Getting it, and sending it back if you have to
Free shipping Australia-wide, delivered in 7–12 business days. No minimum spend — one polo ships free. Buying for a fixed date, a bucks weekend, Father's Day, an ambrose day, give it three weeks and sleep easy. Shipping details.
Everyone gets a mulligan: 30 days to send it back unworn for a refund or a swap. Faulty or not what you ordered, we cover postage both ways and you don't have to argue about it. None of this affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Returns.
Kitting out the group
15% off two, 20% off four, 25% off eight or more, applied automatically at checkout. Cheaper per head than custom embroidery and considerably funnier. Our advice for a bucks trip or a corporate day: give everyone a different design. Coordinate, don't uniform. Group and ambrose orders.
If gold's a bit bright for you, Clubhouse Pilsner is the tasteful cousin. If it isn't bright enough, Liquid Handicap is a pint glass with sleeves. See all eight.
Everyone bogeys. Dress like it.
Straight answers
The questions you would actually ask.
Will they actually let me wear this at my club?
Almost certainly. Australian dress codes restrict uncollared tops and offensive slogans or advertising — not patterns. Ours is collared, tuckable and carries no words whatsoever. If your club is unusually strict, check with the pro shop, but we built the range specifically to pass.
What size should I order?
One size up from your usual Australian fit. If you wear a Large in an Aussie or European brand, take the XL. Between sizes, always go up. Full chest and body-length measurements in centimetres are in the description above and on our size guide.
How long does delivery take?
7–12 business days, delivered. Free Australia-wide. These are made to order and shipped direct, which is exactly why you're paying $69.95 rather than the $135 the American brands charge for identical construction. If you need them for a specific date, give it three weeks — most orders land well inside that, but you want the buffer.
Will it be see-through, or smell after a hot round?
No to both. It's an opaque performance knit, not a jersey mesh. Polyester moves sweat rather than absorbing it, so it dries fast — wash it cold after a hot day and it comes up clean, same as any performance polo.
What if it turns up and it's wrong?
You get a mulligan. 30 days to send it back unworn for a refund or a swap. If it's faulty or not what you ordered, we cover postage both ways and you don't need to argue about it. None of this reduces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
